Find out if you are a candidate for dental implants!
Once your dental implant(s) heal, you will be fitted with a single-tooth crown restoration, multiple-tooth crown restorations, implant-supported dentures, or other options that fit your needs.
1. Medical-grade and biocompatible titanium screw, which is inserted into the jawbone to replace the missing tooth root. Because titanium has been proven over time to bond extremely well with human tissue, it offers a healthy, permanent solution.
2. An abutment. Once the titanium post has bonded with the jawbone, similar to the way a natural tooth root does, we place the connector piece (called an abutment) that securely connects the implant screw to the custom made restoration.
3. The visible part of the dental implant consists of the teeth, which will be a custom-made crown, bridge, or full denture that connects to the implant abutment.
We accept most dental insurance and have easy payment and financing options.
Almost anyone is a prime candidate for dental implants. Whether you’ve lost a tooth, several teeth, or even all of your teeth, dental implants may be a perfect solution for you.
Obviously, each patient has specific needs. At SeaCliff Dental, we thoroughly evaluate each candidate to determine the most appropriate plan of dental treatment.
We will assess your specific dental conditions and determine the treatment approach that would provide the best long-term functional and aesthetic results.
Implant dentistry candidates must have healthy gums and adequate bone structure to support the restoration. We will determine if you need bone grafts or sinus lift before proceeding.
A full evaluation by our SeaCliff Dental implant dentists will help determine whether you are a good candidate for dental implants.
Usually, the process goes as follows:
We use high-end implant systems and materials to provide you the highest quality of care, great predictable results, and a smooth, easy experience throughout your dental implant process.
01: During your consultation appointment with us, imaging, such as 3D CT scans, will be taken; your condition will be reviewed by the Doctor; a personalized treatment plan will be formed; and an accurate estimate of the cost of your treatment will be discussed. Some dental insurance may cover some of the costs associated with dental implants.
02: During computerized-guided surgery, the doctor will place the post in the jawbone beneath your gums. Usually, the discomfort level is less than a tooth extraction, and you’ll be able to return to your routine the next day.
03: After the implant placement, there will be a three to four-month healing period while your body does the work of fusing the screw into the jaw bone to create a strong foundation for chewing hard foods.
04: Once the screw is securely fused with the bone in your jaw, we will place the abutments and make a custom restoration. Your healthy, new smile will now be ready to show off to the world!
Once you’ve completed the dental implant process, you will have a beautiful, natural-looking solution that will provide many years of talking, laughing, smiling, and eating your favorite foods without worrying about loose-fitting dentures or ugly gaps in your smile.
